Founded in 2006, MYRA started out to break the traditional boundaries of metal, thrash and hadcore music to create their own ripping sound of modern metal. After a sold out EP the band recorded it’s debut album “The Venom It Drips” and was signed by European Label Group in 2008.
MYRA played counteless club shows all around Europe next to Germanys biggest metal festivals like With Full Force,Spack Festival, Mach 1 or Sucks’n’Summer, supporting bands like Hatebreed (US), Heaven Shall Burn (GER), Motörhead (UK), Suffocation (US), Millencollin (SWE) or the Bloodhound Gang (US) .
2010 brought the second full length “Godspeed”, marking the next step of Germanys heaviest newcomer. Packed with a set of ripping new songs and the ambition to burn every stage MYRA is ready to reach new heights.
